Seems such a long time ago!!!
I've now got my dyes and am ready to play . If anyone is having trouble getting into the mysterious blog scenario, send me an email and we can do 'the blind leading the blind thing.'

And there's one more. I have discovered that i cn only upload 4 photos at a time . Who knows why!!??

I managed to get the photos of the last day from the pdf file Marie-Therese emailed to us in a format that can be uploaded . If you would like me to post it on the blog let me know or you can post your own images so we can all see the wonderful things people were so busily doing over the 5 days. or... take photos of your favourite samples and experiments and post them. It would be a great resource. (I'm getting a bit hooked on this "social networking" thing. )

Hi Annette, I was soooo.... excited to see your post and know that the blog worked. Its a bit of a wonder world. Will look forward with anticipation to other postings from the group. I've ordered my dye so hopefully will be experimenting with gusto in the next few weeks.

Hello from another happy learner

Hi, have to say thanks to you Chris C. for setting up this blog, well done..

Made it safely home and have caught up on sleep and rest, not much else.  I treated myself to a new iron yesterday, no press, yet!  So no further dyeing or ironing has been done.  But all the pieces from the workshop have been presented at a show and tell at the Fibres group I belong to, with much oohhing and aaahhing..
Off to work on a lighthouse picture..

Press at Aldi

Just reading through the latest Aldi junk mail and noticed that they have presses for $179. I bought one last year and it has been great. Have tried the dye paper on it and it works really well. Great toy for the playroom.

Hope everyone got back home safe and sound with ideas brimming . I had such an inspiring time. Great teaching, great company and great food!

I am just learning about blogs and admit its all a little confusing but think I'm getting a handle on it .... Or perhaps I don't even know what I don't know.... I will soon send everyone an email inviting you to become and author to the blog . You just need to have or set up a google email account and then you can add to the blog.

It will be great to see photos of the progress of works from Rocky or new projects and plans.

I have tried to order dye, but can't get on to Batik Oetoro as the number is disconnected and Kraft Kolour isn't open til Tuesday but am still really keen to start playing again.
